PROVERBS OF THE MONTH

Eka ale o ! A si ku imura ipaade o. We are back on track for the monthly Yoruba proverbs which will be a continuation of our old tradition. For the month of June, I am posting the following proverbs:

1. Omo ti ko n'iya, kii d'egbo eyin
2.Ba mi na omo mi ko de nu olomo
3.Opo alangba lo d'anu dele, a ko mo eyi t'inu nrun
4. A kii bo sinu omi tan ka sa fun otutu.

 There will be a token prize for the first 3 persons who give correct translation and meaning to these proverbs.
Since we have few days to our meeting, the winners will receive their prizes in August. This is to give more people the opportunity to participate.
