CELEBRATING NIGERIA AT 55 WHICH WAY FORWARD?

Image result for Nigeria at 55

55 years after independence, the most populous country in Africa is still fighting poverty, tribalism, corruption, nepotism and lack of good infrastructures that can elevate any nation from the tyranny of today's world.
Ahmed Sekou Toure one of the great leader who fought for independence in the content once said
" We prefer freedom in poverty to opulence in slavery." Yes, then it was slavery a cruel human trade which eroded the entire continent to enrich those colonial masters. I think freedom from all form of atrocities and tyranny Nigerians are facing today could be resolved by two things only. And those two things are simply:
THE FEAR OF GOD AND THE TRUST IN THE YOUNGER GENERATION TO LEAD.
As we are all celebrating Nigeria's 55th independence, please lets pray that God returns the glorious day of Nigeria and eradicate all the calamities the nation is facing today forever and ever. God bless Nigeria and bless the United States of America.

I will leave you on this note with another great quote by Ahmed Sekou Toure. Many years ago, this great son of Africa said this " The political leader is, by virtue of his communion of idea and action with his people, the representative of his people, the representative of a culture"
