As some of you may know, I have been somewhat incapacitated and anything you've seen posted since the Ajodun was written a while back and set to post automatically - the magic of technology! This post however is live and fresh so enjoy...
It's come and gone, our first Ajodun and what a wonderful occasion it turned out to be by all accounts and feedback!

People came on time, (Unbelievable!), and the first 3 families even won prizes for punctuality.

Mr Lawal, Dr Akingbemi and Dr Fadamiro all were punctuality winners, enjoing the year book. Mr Dada came early too but as a social comittee member, no prizes for that! |

Old Ibadan-Ijaye battles were fought all over again and won with trophies to show for it. Wow! The Ijaye people and their supporters won this one (with some help) over the Ibadan people (Ako po!).
The modern day Are Ogunmola was represented by Are Lawal for Ibadan.The counterpart Are Kunrunmi was represented by Are Ayanwale. See for yourselves below!

I am eternally grateful to all our helpers who made this the success that it is and to new friends we've made this year alone. Our lives are the richer for it. Ajose wa o ni baje o. May God continue to bless us all with his infinite mercies.

Simply amazing! Thank you so much Dr. Abolade for posting our Ajodun pictures - awesome. It was such a successful event and we have our leaders (exco and the organizing committees)to thank for it. The ajodun was an outstanding event. It reflected hard work and meticulous planning by the excutives and a very outstanding implementation by our amazing social/publicity secretary, Dr. Abolade. I believe that we, as an organization, are off to a great start and we pray that God will continue to bless all our families this coming year.

ReplyDeletenone- social committee members who offered of themselves like Mr Babatunde, Dr Adediji & his entire family, Mr Latunde Addey, Mrs Popoola and her sons and Mrs Lawal who drove in from Atlanta to set up the food, who all came to help set up and Mr Adagunodo and Mr babatunde and the Ayanwales who stayed behind to help clean up. We couldnt have done it with.out you really. A dupe o. I'm Very appreciative
Glory be to God for a very successful first year. All the accolades go to the social secretary, social committee members and others who sacrificed the time and efforts to make this happen.
